If Cars 2 left you hoping for a fresh dose of Pixar's unique brand of storytelling sorcery, the good news is that **Brave **is shaping up to offer exactly that. This new trailer/clip, which might bring back happy memories of Disney's Robin Hood, promises richer characters and a whole lot more bare-faced cheek from the studio's writers, even if the visual style is a clear departure.
The story sees Disney's princess, Merida, voiced by Kelly Macdonald, bringing chaos to the mystical Scottish Highlands when she rejects the wishes of her parents King Fergus (Billy Connolly) and Queen Elinor (Emma Thompson) and the age-old lore of the land. This clip sets up the battle of wills that follows.
There's also a new poster, via Apple, which shows the film's scarlet-haired heroine in her full finery. Click here for the first-look trailer.**Brave **is oot in a cinema near you on August 17 if you're in the UK, or June 22 if you're Stateside.
