As you know, we don't hate remakes on principle around here. And we are especially willing to give them a chance when they're a fresh take on the same material and/or have a good team behind them. So we're quietly hopeful for Let Me In, the Matt Reeves-directed spin on the Swedish vampire hit Let The Right One In - and here's a creepy, blood-soaked new picture to whet your appetite too.
The film stars The Road's Kodi Smit-McPhee as picked-on schoolboy Owen, who befriends Abby (Kick-Ass's Chloe Moretz) when she moves into his building. But she's not quite normal - as you can probably see here.
With adult support from Richard Jenkins and Elias Koteas, and judging by the footage we saw at Movie-Con III, this is shaping up pretty well. You can judge for yourself when it opens on October 29 here in the UK, or when it screens at the London Film Festival on October 14.
