What would you do if a strange happenstance caused you to stay 29 years old for nearly 80 years? It’s the question tackled by Blake Lively in romantic drama The Age Of Adaline, which has just released a new trailer.
Thanks to her quirk of fate, Adaline Bowman has lived a solitary existence, never allowing herself to get close to anyone who might reveal her secret, and to spare her the pain of watching loved ones wither and die under time’s cruel finger.
But a chance encounter with charismatic philanthropist Ellis Jones (Michiel Huisman) reignites her passion for life and romance. At least, that is, until a weekend with his parents (Harrison Ford and Kathy Baker) threatens to uncover the truth, and she has to make a decision that will change her life forever.
