The Bfi London Film Festival – now in partnership with American Express – kicked off last night in fine style, with the European gala premiere of the awfully British drama, Never Let Me Go.
Empire was there, freezing our giblets off along with hundreds of spectators, all hoping to catch a glimpse of the film’s triumvirate of hot British stars – Carey Mulligan, Keira Knightley, and Andrew Garfield, the man who is set to become Spider-Man – as they walked along the red carpet outside the Odeon Leicester Square.
And they weren’t disappointed, as our plethora of pics from the evening shows. Look at them. Look at the pretty stars, being pretty. Look at their perfect hair, and teeth and gleaming eyes. Just bloody well look at them. And if you want to hear them – and Never Let Me Go director, Mark Romanek, Sir Ben Kingsley, Mark Strong and more – then make sure to watch our first LFF videblogisode, which should be up around lunch. It’ll blow your mind.
