Warner Bros. has announced its line-up for Empire and the BFI's Movie-Con II on August 15 and 16, and there are some tasty treats in store for the lucky attendees.
First up is Sherlock Holmes. Those of you who came last year will remember that Guy Ritchie's RocknRolla played to a rave reception, so it's good to see both the director and Mark Strong with a presence this year in the shape of a chunk of finished Holmes footage.
Then there's a helping of the eagerly-awaited Where The Wild Things Are, with maverick director Spike Jonze adapting the classic Maurice Sendak children's story. After the new trailer today, we're even keener to see this than we already were.
And last but not least, there's a taste of Ninja Assassin, which stars Korean heartthrob Rain, Naomie Harris and Rick Yune. That's directed by Wachowski protege and V For Vendetta director James McTeigue, so expect lots and lots of action. Also, ninjas! What's not to love?
We'll have many more announcements in the next few days, so watch this space.
