UPDATE: In terrific news, we can now confirm that Funny People star and accomplished funny person Jonah Hill will be coming along to introduce the screening of the film on Sunday night. Hill will be fresh from the set of Get Him To The Greek, the Forgetting Sarah Marshall spin-off which he's currently shooting with Russell Brand in London, but he's taking time out to hang with Empire, the BFI and all of you at Movie-Con.

Another day, another exciting announcement for the Empire and BFI Movie-Con II weekend: Funny People will be screening at 18.00 on Sunday, giving you the first chance to see the new Judd Apatow film starring (deep breath) Adam Sandler, Seth Rogen, Eric Bana, Leslie Mann, Jason Schwartzman and Jonah Hill.

Sandler plays comedian and movie star George Simmons, who realises how empty his life is after he is diagnosed with cancer. He befriends young up-and-coming comic Ira (Seth Rogen) and tries to reconnect with his ex (Leslie Mann).

The film will screen right before The Hurt Locker on Sunday evening, so get your tickets now by calling the BFI on 0207 928 3232. We've seen it, and it's ace, so don't delay in getting your seat.
