With just over twelve hours until Empire's Movie-Con II, in association with the BFI, kicks off, we might just have saved the best news for last: extended footage from James Cameron's 3-D epic, Avatar, will be there!
We can't say exactly what Movie-Con attendees will be seeing, but they will be among the first people in the world to get a sneak peek at the eagerly-awaited sci-fi extravaganza, in which Sam Worthington's human is downloaded into an alien/human hybrid body, and becomes the unwitting leader of the resistance on an alien moon, Pandora.
Empire has already seen a substantial amount of Cameron's dream project, which has been some four years in the making, and we loved what we saw. We can promise you that you won't be disappointed.
So get ready to pop on those 3D glasses for a fully immersive taste of a film that may, just may, rewrite the cinematic rulebook.
