When your cast includes names like Matt Damon, Bill Murray, John Goodman, Jean Dujardin, Bob Balaban, Hugh Bonneville and Cate Blanchett, you're pretty much guaranteed a good permiere party. A tip of the beret, then, to George Clooney and his band of brothers for turning Leicester Square into a thousand-fan scream-off for The Monuments Men UK premiere.
You can take a look at Gorgeous George's gang below, but look out for key details like Bill Murray bringing his own Sharpie pen along for signing purposes, Clooney's sultry scarf and, well, Jean Dujardin's embarrassingly handsome face. Inside the cinema, Clooney introduced several real Monuments Men and their families in the crowd, and Harry Ettlinger, the youngest of the original bunch (a version of him is played onscreen by Dimitri Leonidas), joined the cast onstage to tumultuous applause.
The Monuments Men is out this Friday, February 14. To read Empire's review, click this way.
