Marc '500 Days' Webb has signed on the dotted line to direct a remake of noir Danish thriller Just Another Love Story.

Acclaimed at Sundance in 2008, the original involved the bizarrest of love triangles: a crime photographer who inveigles his way into the life - and bed - of an amnesiac car-accident survivor, only to become very seriously unstuck when her real boyfriend discovers the deception.

Webb is a man in a hurry. With the sleeper success that was **(500) Days Of Summer **behind him, the one-time music video director is in demand. Also in the works are another thriller, the futuristic Age Of Rage, and a reboot of Jesus Christ Superstar, although the latter is still filled under 'TBC'.

While transplanting Just Another Love Story's gloom-infused Copenhagen setting to the US won't be easy, anything's possible for a man who can make a Hall and Oates-fuelled dance montage look like the greatest idea ever.

**Just Another Love Story **is the latest in a series of high-calibre Scandinavian movies to get the remake treatment. Sam Raimi's Ghosthouse banner is giving Danish supernatural thriller Room 2005 a US reworking, while Matt Reeves is turning his hand to **Let Me In, a redo of Swedish Let The Right One. A remake of Icelandic whodunnit Jar City is also in development.
