Oh joy, oh rapture – the sequel to Madagascar is on its way. All right, so maybe it wasn’t as bad as Shark Tale. But let’s face it – it wasn’t a Shrek either.
Still, it was a money-spinner, particularly on DVD, so of course DreamWorks want to do another one. And according to Ben Stiller, the plot will find his character getting even wilder. “I think all the animals head back to New York on that plane that you know was up in the trees and then they crash in Africa and Alex gets reacquainted with his real family and it goes from there," he told Coming Soon. "We're starting to record it very soon.”
Hmm, didn't they leave the island on a boat? The plan is to have Madagascar 2 in cinemas by November 2008. We’re counting the minutes.
