The BFI London Film Festival – in partnership with American Express, it says here – moved, inexorably, from Day 1 into Day 2 yesterday, with the highlight being the gala premiere of Let Me In, Matt Reeves’ largely faithful US-set remake of Tomas Alfredson’s Swedish vampire chiller, Let The Right One In.

Reeves was there to mark the occasion, along with his two stars, Kodi Smit-McPhee, in a mindboggling bright-green suit that looked like it had been cut out of a snooker table, and the delightful Chloe Moretz, a world away from Hit-Girl.
