Len Wiseman is going to produce Nonstop.
Don’t worry, it’s not some marathon effort for a charidee of his choice, where he produces a bunch of movies for 48 hours while covered in beans. Instead, the **Die Hard 4.0 **director is producing a high-concept action thriller called Nonstop, for DreamWorks. Glad to have cleared up any confusion there.
Actually, the film is genuinely high-concept, given that it’s about a planeload of passengers who get abducted by aliens… while in mid-air. Aliens On A Plane? Executive Decision meets Close Encounters? We’re THERE.
The mad idea is an original from screenwriter Michael Gilvary, while ace creature designer, and Wiseman protégé Patrick Tatopolous, will direct, following on from his debut with Underworld: Rise Of The Lycans.
Wiseman, meanwhile, is attached to direct two movies for DreamWorks – the thriller, Motorcade, and the big-budget sci-fi, Atlantis Rising. No word on whether he’ll be directing those non-stop…
