The bad news about the first trailer for The Lego Movie is that the title screen suggests it's no longer called "The Piece Of Resistance". The good news is that it includes Superman, Batman, Michelangelo (the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle and also the painter), Abraham Lincoln (fingers crossed for a Daniel Day-Lewis voice cameo) and many more.

The film sees Chris Pratt voice Emmett, an ordinary figure mistaken for the great Master Builder and recruited to prevent an evil tyrant from gluing the Lego universe together. He'll have help from Morgan Freeman's Vitruvius, Will Arnett's Batman and encounter characters voiced by Elizabeth Banks, Will Ferrell, Liam Neeson, Alison Brie and Nick Offerman.

The Lego Movie is due in cinemas on February 14, 2014. It's directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller, the guys behind Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs and then the live-action 21 Jump Street. We're hoping that this will have some of the anarchic spirit of both, as well as the high levels of entertainment.
