If it seems like just a few short weeks ago that the most recent ParaNorman trailer arrived, that might just be because it was only a few short weeks ago. But unlike some movies that seem content to shovel out the same old batch of clips, the thoughtful folk behind the new Laika stop-motion adventure are happy to keep switching things up. Check out the new international promo from Yahoo UK below.
brightcove.createExperiences();It’s a good sign when there are plenty of fun moments to spread across several trailers, and so far what we’ve seen of ParaNorman give us faith that this homage to ‘80s horror movies, which has been virally infected with the humour of its largely British creators, will be just as enjoyable as Coraline.
The plot finds young Norman (Kodi Smit-McPhee) trying to live an ordinary live in his small town. But he’s not ordinary: he can see, and is friends with, the ghosts that roam around the place. And when everyone is threatened by an ancient witch’s curse, which brings zombies groaning out of the ground, it’s up to Norman and his rag-tag group of friends (and not-so-friendly types) to save the day.
**ParaNorman **spooks our cinemas on September 14.
