Latest Noah Trailer Washes In

Introduced by a giggling Emma Watson doing her best attempt to get gangster up in this clip (spoiler alert: she’s funny even when she’s screwing up), here comes the latest trailer for Darren Aronofsky’s Noah.

There is some different material allied to footage we’ve seen before (Russell Crowe’s Noah vs. Ray Winstone’s Tubal Cain, the wide shot of the animals crowding into the ark, and plenty of flames/water/charging crowds). But, given that this was initially aimed at Watson’s Facebook followers, there is also more from her Ila, Logan Lerman’s Ham, Douglas Booth’s Shem and the younger members of the ensemble. At this rate there will soon be a promo from the point of view of one of the birds - look for Noah: Squawker’s Tale to hit your eyes soon. Maybe.

Noah, of course, focuses on Crowe as the boat-building family man, with Jennifer Connelly as his wife. He not only has the watery genocide of a discouraged deity to deal with in this story, but also the violent opposition of Winstone's Ark-coveting Cain. Anthony Hopkins plays Methuselah, while Nick Nolte and Frank Langella voice angels. Admit it: you want to see the film just for that. It’ll hit our cinemas on April 4.
