So far, the trailers for Disney’s latest, superhero team-up Big Hero 6, have focused almost entirely on the relationship between the main protagonist, Hiro Hamada (Ryan Potter) and loveable, squishy robo-pal Baymax (Scott Adsit). That’s still the case for this latest promo, but there is more from the other members of the nerdy gang on display.
Also present is more of a **SPOILER **vibe, albeit for something that happens early in the film, but be cautious reading the rest of this paragraph. Big Hero 6 finds Hiro dealing with the tragic death of his inventive older brother Tadashi (Daniel Henney). The loss has sent the young tech genius spiralling into confusion, but that’s helped when he discovered Tadashi’s greatest invention, healthcare robot Baymax.
When a mysterious new villain threatens his hometown of San Fransokyo, Hiro unites with some new acquaintances – Go Go Tomago (Jamie Chung), Honey Lemon (Genesis Rodriguez), Fred (T.J. Miller) and Wasabi (Damon Wayans Jr.) to fight this fresh menace. Together they’ll have to overcome their fears and use their intellects to become the hero team that San Fransokyo needs.
**Big Hero 6 **lands in the US on November 7, but UK audiences will have to wait until January 30 to catch a glimpse.
