There’s been a distinct lack of movies featuring minigun-mounted motorbikes flying through flames, shotgun-sporting priests and blade-obsessed Mexicans, but Robert Rodriguez is here to fix that with Machete, his balls out mega B-movie, and here are the posters to prove it.
Featuring direct-to-DVD action emperor Steven Seagal, Avatar’s very own Michelle Rodriguez (complete with eyepatch, leather bra and assault rifle), and Robert De Niro wielding some hefty pistols, it's all getting very exciting.Then there's Machete himself (Danny Trejo), wearing so many blades it looks like he recently mugged several butchers and stuffed his swag in his wax jacket. In a good way.
They’re old school, they’re ludicrous, they’re fantastic. They also include Jessica Alba in a tank top. Need we say more? Well, maybe. Check out the trailers here and here if you haven’t already for more Machete-y based goodness.
