Imagine the amazing Nightcrawler in the White House scene from X-Men 2 spread to feature length and that seems to be what we can expect from Doug Liman's Jumper, the trailer for which is online here.
The trailer doesn't make a ton of sense – it's a bit sketchy on the details of why Samuel L Jackson is trying to kill a pair of teleporting young men, played by Hayden Christensen and Jamie Bell – but it looks fantastic. The teleporting effect, even when used for pointless trips like getting to the fridge two seconds faster, is completely seamless.
Liman's proved that he has a terrific grasp of action with both The Bourne Identity and Mr and Mrs Smith and this will hopefully, by the looks of things, be balls out action all the way.
