Only yesterday we reported that Kung Fu Panda's John Stevenson was working on a new Masters of the Universe movie, called **Grayskull, and today he's signed up for another project, The Minotaur Takes A Cigarette Break, based on the book by Steven Sherrill.

The book sees the legendary minotaur, three thousand years on, living in a trailer park and working as a short-order cook in a Midwestern diner. He lives a quiet life, full of routine (horn polishing, fur combing, repairing his car) and to-do lists, but also yearns for the human connections that his peculiar existence largely denies him - especially when he falls for a waitress named Kelly.

The film's conceived as an off-beat love story, with CG elements to the live-action. Mike Jones wrote the script to what sounds like a potentially ace offbeat love story.
