Previous footage of Ridley Scott's crime drama** The Counsellor** - note the British spelling - has not concentrated on plot of Cormac McCarthy's story, but this new international trailer seeks to fix all that, and to a cracking tune to boot. Feast your eyes on Michael Fassbender crying (amongst other things) in the new Counsellor trailer below.
''I intend to love you until I die," says Fassbender's drug-dealing lawyer, who's known only as - you guessed it - The Counsellor. You can file that line under 'foreboding'. We also learn here that you can decapitate a man on a motorbike with a metal cable, and you're absolute right, that is Dean Norris, in full Hank from Breaking Bad mode, looking at what you can guess is a decomposing body in a tub. Drug dealing sure is fun, isn't it?
With Scott on slick form and Bardem adding to the series titled Javier’s Mad Hair (here he looks like he’s been sticking his fingers in plug sockets), **The Counsellor **promises to be entertainingly sleek and tense. It’ll hit our cinemas on November 15.
