We may have suffered through a year without a Pixar film, but 2015 is shaping up to be a good one with two releases from the company:** Inside Out** and delayed effort The Good Dinosaur. **Inside Out **is up first and the teaser trailer has arrived.
Sprung from the mind – and, as he’s told us in the past, family – of Monsters Inc./Up man Pete Docter, Inside Out is the story of a little girl called Riley, an 11 year-old who has moved with her family to San Francisco. More specifically, however, the focus is *in *her mind, exploring how memories are formed and how a mixture of five emotions – Joy (Amy Poehler), Disgust (Mindy Kaling), Anger (Lewis Black), Fear (Bill Hader) and Sadness (Phyllis Smith) – define her life experiences.
You could be forgiven for thinking you’re simply watching a Pixar Greatest Hits compilation at first with this one, but stick with it, because there is actual footage from the movie lurking within.
Inside is Out on July 24. And from the looks of it, Pixar is back on delightful form with a thoroughly original tale.
