Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 London Premiere Report

Leicester Square became Britain's answer to District 13 last night - minus the bunker, army men and sense of despair - as the cast of Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 walked the red carpet, answering journalists' questions about what clothes they were wearing and posing for the assembled photographers. In short, the new Hunger Games movie has its UK premiere last night, and here are some photos and videos to prove it.

As you can see, the whole gang was there, from Josh Hutcherson to Elizabeth Banks, Stanley Tucci to Donald Sutherland, all in resplendent dresses / suits (delete as appropriate). No animatronic indigo birds, alas, which hopefully will have their time to shine this time next year, when the final part of the story arrives in cinemas.

With Francis Lawrence directing, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 is out on November 20, and as you may have noticed, Katniss is currently gracing the cover of the latest **Empire, out now and featuring much, much more about the movie (and much, much more about much. much more).
