Can’t get enough of police-based pandemonium? Get ready to get real happy. This Sunday, at London’s Prince Charles Cinema, you can join the creators of Hot Fuzz —Edgar Wright, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost — for an ultra-special Hot Fuzztival event.

Kicking off at 11am, the guys will present three of their favourite action flicks on the big screen — Hard Boiled, The Last Boy Scout and Point Break. Then, after a full day’s worth of Mexican stand-offs, cool one-liners and people shooting their guns in the air while going, “Aaaarrrghh!”, they will record a unique live commentary for Hot Fuzz, along with other cast members and surprise guests.

Not only is this marathon of carnage and comedy totally free of charge, but Wright promises there will be rewards for hardcore fans. So dig out your truncheons, buy some handcuffs and get down there early — it’s first come, first served.

And if you can’t make it on Sunday, there’s a chance to meet Edgar and Nick on Monday instead, when they’ll be signing copies of the new Hot Fuzz DVD at HMV, 150 Oxford Street. They’re due at the store at 1pm.
