In a two-fingered salute the movie adage that all romantic comedies should star 23-year-olds with cheese-grater abs and dangerous cheekbones, Dustin Hoffman and Emma Thompson are to head up romantic comedy Last Chance Harvey.
The film was written by writer/director Joel Hopkins with the pair in mind and will see Hoffman as a down on his luck man who finds an unlikely female companion while attending his daughter's wedding in London.
Anyone who's seen Stranger Than Fiction will remember that Hoffman and Thompson had terrific chemistry and will feel a warm tingly feeling building in the stomach that is either excitement or poor digestion. Anybody who hasn't seen Stranger Than Fiction should move away from their computer now, point there nose in the direction of a DVD retailer, follow it and then buy said DVD. Your day will be better for it.
