Though we've had a look at a picture from A Good Day To Die Hard, the fifth instalment in the saga of (now former) NYPD cop John McClane, today brings the teaser trailer from Yahoo!, which shows us what we can expect from the movie. Take a look above.
On the evidence on this nearly dialogue-free promo (Bruce Willis gets a one-liner at the end), things go boom in the film a lot. Which seems fitting for a Die Hard outing.
The plot – which is sort of displayed in broad visual strokes here – has McClane attempting to reconnect with estranged sprog Jack (Spartacus’ Jai Courtney) while also tackling some nasty international thieves and a rogue Russian leader breaking out of prison. Oh, and the beautiful Irina (Yuliya Snigir) showing up on a bike and revealing what she’s wearing under her leathers (which, from the looks of it, prompts a cheeky smile from McClane).
We’ll have to wait and see the finished product (in cinemas on February 14) to judge whether director John Moore (The Omen,** Max Payne**) has delivered on his promise to make something more satisfying than Die Hard 4.0, but the signs are reasonably positive from this early peek.
