Fun Size Trailer Unwrapped

What would you do if you were a teenage girl trying to attend the party of the year on Halloween and your mother saddled you with your annoying kid brother for a dull run of trick or treating? Why, you’d get distracted and promptly lose track of him, of course! At least you would if you were Wren (Victoria Justice) in Fun Size. Check out the first trailer below courtesy of Fandango.

Josh Schwartz, the man responsible for bringing Chuck, Gossip Girl and more to the small screen, is making his movie directorial debut with this, working from a script by Max Werner.

Wren just wants to have a fun night with best pal April (Jane Levy) and flirt with sexy bad boy Aaron (Thomas McDonell). But her mother (Chelsea Handler) dumps the care of little bro Albert (Jackson Nicoll) on her. Which, like, totally sucks… and gets worse when the pint-sized Spider-Man wanders off and Wren must find him.

Roping in lovesick nerd Jefferson (Thomas Mann), she sets out on her search. What follows appears to be channelling the likes of Superbad and Don’t Tell Mom The Babysitter’s Dead. Given Schwartz’ usual light touch with comedy, this could be a treat.

Fun Size will arrive on the ideal release date, hitting screens on October 31 (the US gets it a couple of days earlier on October 26, but we like the UK date more).
