The cast for Date Night keeps getting better and better looking, with the news that Mark Wahlberg and James Franco have signed on to join the Steve Carell/Tina Fey comedy. They round out an ensemble that's testament to how hot Carell and Fey have become.
As the name suggests, the plot sees a married couple, played by, Fey and Carell, out on a "date night" without the kids. Their planned dinner, however, goes horribly wrong.
Wahlberg will apparently play an "crazily buff and successful" securities expert who hits on Fey; Franco will play a rather dim con man.
The cast also includes Gossip Girl's Leighton Meester as the couple's babysitter, rapper Common as a villain, Fey's Saturday Night Live cohort Kristen Wiig as Fey's character's best friend, and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button's Oscar-nominated Taraji P. Henson as the one cop who believes that the couple are in danger.
A Night At The Museum's Shawn Levy is directing, with Shrek The Third screenwriter Josh Klausner responsible for the script. But Fey and Carell, right? It's gotta be good.
