If you can get through the following story without singing a few scratchy lines from a Swinging Blue Jeans song made famous in Cocktail, then you're a better person than us. Cillian Murphy, Sienna Miller, Max Minghella and Emma Booth have all signed up for Hippie Hippie Shake (and off you go).
The film, to be directed by Beeban Kidron (Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason), is based on the book Hippie Hippie Shake: The Dreams, the Trips, the Trials, the Love-ins, the Screw Ups: The Sixties by Richard Neville, which uses a famed obscenity trial against satirical magazine Oz to take a sashay through the swinging sixties of London. Murphy will play Neville. Working Title's Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner will produce.
