Aha! The very first official still for the as yet unnamed Alan Partridge Movie has arrived, and it has Steve Coogan pulling a quizzical face at what we can only hope is Lynn with a wheelbarrow full of out-of-date Toblerones. If you're wondering where this snap was taken, wonder no more for we're happy to announce - spoiler alert! - that it's in the world's biggest Bond fan's luxury shed, complete with Alan Partridge wall calendar, Spitfire artwork and a model of what could well be a classic Aston Martin. Also, Alan's an iPhone man? Now we know.
With Father Ted man Declan Lowney behind the camera, The Alan Partridge Movie will follow Partridge's attempts to resurrect his broadcasting career "while negotiating a potentially violent turn of events at North Norfolk Digital Radio." Should we brace ourselves for Norfolk's Nakatomi Plaza? Fingers crossed.
The Alan Partridge Movie has no official name yet, but if you tune in to YouTube.com/AlanPartridgeMovie at 12pm GMT tomorrow, all will be revealed by the man himself. Whatever it ends up being called, it's aiming for a August 16 release.
