If you cast your mind back to last week (it’s not very far, shouldn’t take long), you might recall we brought you two exclusive new images from Liam Neeson’s third go-around as Bryan Mills, Taken 3. Or, as it’s apparently being called on this first international poster, Tak3n. Yeah, we’re not sure it works either.
Weirdly, the poster appears to utilize the iconic Hollywood Sign, but swaps out the first O for a 3. That's strange, but it’s a Taken outing – you learn to expect such things.
This time apparently confined to Los Angeles locales, the third film in the frantic franchise finds Bryan Mills more of a target than even, though according to Neeson and director Olivier Megaton, no one is actually snatched this time, mostly because the star demanded it. And, let’s face it, it would be a little ridiculous running down the list of potential kidnap victims. Who’s next? Mittens, the family’s quick-witted, former SAS cat? (Admittedly, we’d watch that.)
The actual plot remains under wraps, but we do know there is some insane car chase action along the wrong lane of a freeway in the city. Or, as Angelinos like to call it, Tuesday. {Exclusive Taken 3 Stills} {Other Taken 3 Stills}
Taken… Sorry, Tak3n features the return of Maggie Grace and Famke Janssen along with some of Mills’ old Special Forces buddies (Jon Gries, Leland Orser etc) plus the likes of Forest Whitaker, Sam Spruell, Dougray Scott and Andrew Howard. The sequel will land in the UK on January 8.
