We have the first clip from Chris Morris’ hotly-anticipated jihadist comedy, Four Lions – and it’s a belter.
And yes, we did say ‘jihadist comedy’. Not content with causing all kinds of Daily Mail-baiting controversy with The Day Today, Jam, Blue Jam, and Brass Eye (the paedophile special, in particular, nearly brought Middle England to an enraged halt), Morris has turned his attentions toward Islamic terrorists with his movie debut. The man clearly has balls the size of small elephants.
And what he also has is a comedy brain the size of a large elephant, judging from this clip, in which the four lions of the title – a cell of incompetent terrorists preparing for a large-scale bombing campaign – have a disagreement over the best method of buying lots of bleach. For it's absolutely brilliant and, with its hilarious talk of men with beards posing as women and terrorists disguising themselves as other terrorists in order to deflect suspicion, very Python-esque.
We also have the first stills from the film for you to take a look at.
Frankly, we can’t wait for the whole thing – in the meantime however, head over to Under The Radar to get Damon Wise's first reaction to Chris Morris’ Four Lions.
