The film itself is now less than a month from release, so here comes what is being touted as the final big push in the marketing campaign for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire: the latest trailer.
This time, the story kicks off shortly after Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) and Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson) have “won” – or more accurately, survived – the brutal Hunger Games imposed by the Capitol on the rest of the districts.
Katniss has returned home safe after the 74th Annual Games, along with Peeta. Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a "Victor's Tour" of the districts. Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow (Donald Sutherland) prepares the 75th Annual Games (The Quarter Quell) – a competition that could change Panem forever. Peeta and Katniss will be forced back into the Arena for a challenge that sees them going up against other previous winners…
With Liam Hemsworth, Elizabeth Banks, Sam Claflin, Woody Harrelson, Stanley Tucci, Jena Malone, Willow Shields and Philip Seymour Hoffman among the cast, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is out on November 21.
As a reminder, you only have a few days left to find the current issue of **Empire in shops, which features more on the film, though it will still be available on the iPad and Android versions.
