Exclusive: Pegg and Frost On Paul

As those of you who've had the chance to read the hot-off-the-press latest issue of Empire will agree, the new shots of Paul look, well, out of this world. And though we can't bring you the exclusive snaps themselves (well, not yet, anyway) we can reveal a few choice snippets from our on-set interview with Messrs. Pegg and Frost.

"If people don't forget that** Paul** is a CG character within ten minutes of meeting him," says Frost, "we've done something wrong. He should not be anything special. He should be one of the gang."

Pegg continues: "There are bits of dialogue where he just talks and does a lot of theorising about religion and sexuality and he swears a lot," says Pegg. "We've not seen a CG character do that before."

And, as the interview continues, what Paul proportedly does when talking about the possibility that Simon and Nick's characters might be gay probably hasn't occured in cinema before. Hint: it's very, very graphic.

So Paul is even more rude, lude and dangerous to know than the teaser trailer first indicated, and to be honest, that's more than fine with us. For more details, check out the issue (on shelves now, donchaknow). It's the one with Tintin on it. And Empire at the top. Can't miss it. **![Empire's World Exclusive Tintin Cover]
