Monsters Vs. Aliens is a CGI animation following the adventures of Susan Murphy, a young girl who is hit by an asteroid which causes her to grow 50ft tall. Susan, nicknamed Ginormica, is sent to a secret government compound where she meets a motley crew of other monsters rounded up over the years. When aliens attack Earth, the gang of Monsters is unleashed in a last ditch attempt to save the planet from invasion.
Empire got hold of an exclusive first look at Susan Murphy/Ginormica, who is voiced by Reese WItherspoon.
The film is directed by Rob Letterman and Rob Vernon, who between the are responsible for Shark Tale and Shrek 3, so the film has a good pedigree, and with the voice talents of Seth Rogen, Hugh Laurie, Paul Rudd, Kiefer Sutherland, Will Arnett and Rainn Wilson, Monsters Vs. Aliens looks set to be a thoroughly entertaining family yarn.
