Exclusive: New Argo Poster

To misquote Gang Starr, the rep is growing bigger for Ben Affleck, a one-time Hollywood golden boy who's showing all the signs of maturing into a filmmaker of genuine quality and consistency. His latest, Argo, has a new poster that looks pretty nifty too. Love the frazzled looks and outlandish '70s moustaches.

A drama-stroke-satire-stroke-thriller, **Argo **is set in the days of the Iranian revolution. Students and assorted radicals stormed the US embassy - like that could ever happen again! - and took six US staffers hostage.

A cunning plan is needed and CIA wonk Tony Mendez (Affleck) thinks he might have one. It's a fake sci-fi flick called 'Argo' that's to be filmed in Tehran to form a clever front to smuggle the hostages out of the country.

**Argo **is out in the UK on November 7 but if you can score a ticket, it's showing at the BFI London Film Festival in October.
