You may have already read our exclusive interview with Eli Roth about his return to directing with cannibal horror **The Green Inferno, but that's not the only thing he's up to at the moment, as proved by this exclusive poster for The Last Exorcism Part II.

Speaking to Roth about producing the follow-up to the 2010 found footage horror hit, he reveals that this isn't the cheapie sequel you might be expecting.

*"Everyone asked about a sequel right away and we’ve spent three years making it because we really wanted to get the story right. The director, Ed Gass-Donnelly, he really wanted to make a Roman Polanski-style movie. We changed the format – it’s a narrative story now but in the world of the first movie." *

"In fact, the first movie exists as a viral video, so people recognise her [Ashley Bell’s demonically possessed teen Nell Sweetzer] and are like ‘Hey, do that thing with your back!’ but she has absolutely no memory of any of it and doesn’t know what’s happened to her. She’s in this home for disturbed girls now."

And what about that name - was there a long conversation about what to call the sequel?

"The original title for the first one was Cotton [The name of the exorcist from the original] and Lionsgate called it The Last Exorcism. And then we thought okay, how do we do The Last Exorcism 2? But hey look, there’s five Final Destinations, so hopefully people can get past the title."{Last Exorcism 2 Stills New}

With a screenplay from a new writer - Damien Chazelle, not the original's Huck Botko and Andrew Gurland - The Last Exorcism Part 2 is out on March 15.
