Let's put I****nsidious's cards on the table: One, it's produced by the guys that brought us Paranormal Activity. Two, it's directed by the original Saw director, James Wan. Guess what? It's a horror. True story.
But for those of you whose distaste for gore porn means you're immediately running for the hills, wait a moment -- this is much more of a psychological horror, with no gratutious sex scenes, and precious little violence.
That's right, it's going to scare you... because it's scary. Not because it has lots of blood and guys and bones flying everywhere.
Starring Patrick Wilson and Rose Byrne (who you'll see again this year in X-Men: First Class), it's about a family who move into a new (old) house and their son Dalton's sudden lapse into a coma.
Thereon in, it's like well creepy and stuff. As is this poster here. Who saw that one coming?
There's some scratched out eyes, a shadowy figure in the window... this doesn't bode well. No sir. Oh, and just so you know, Insidious is out April 29.
