Netflix's Daredevil is currently available to stream, which means many members of the Empire office are running out of excuses to be at home, watching all 13 episodes back to back. Making things more difficult are these two exclusive stills from the show, which give a great look at just how heroic Charlie Cox looks when he looms over a Hell's Kitchen alleyway in his proper red garb.
For those not in the know, the series, from Spartacus man Steven S. DeKnight, gets down and dirty in the world of inner-city New York. Upstanding but frustrated lawyer Matt Murdock (Cox) decides that to help save his neighbourhood from a tidal wave of crime and post-Avengers trouble, he’s going to take matters into his own hands by forming them into fists and dishing out rough justice as a night-time vigilante.
Daredevil, the first of an interconnected series of Netflix shows that will also include Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, Luke Cage and team-up The Defenders, stars Charlie Cox, Vincent D'Onofrio, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Rosario Dawson, Ayelet Zurer, Bob Gunton and Scott Glenn. All 13 episodes, as previously mentioned, are on Netflix right now.
