Exclusive: I Give It A Year Trailer

When the first** I Give It A Year** trailer popped up last month it brought to mind some of the happiest memories of Four Weddings And A Funeral. Rowan Atkinson talking goats, Hugh Grant blathering about sheep, that kind of thing. Lot of farm animals in that movie.

There's only one wedding in the **I Give It A Year **(and no farm animals), but judging by the film's new trailer there could be substantial chuckles in those scenes too. Take a look below.

The story also has Judd Apatow-y overtones. Driven executive Nat (Rose Byrne) meets and falls for struggling novelist Josh (Rafe Spall). A good match? Well, as you can see from the trailer, there's definitely bumps in the road. They get married, but, as the title implies, even their closest friends have little hope for their chances.

The appearance of Josh’s ex (Anna Faris) and the attentions of Nat's colleague (Simon Baker), not to mention what looks like help from the world's worst relationship counsellor (Olivia Colman), thickens the plot further but it's all about the silliness here.

Spall looks well-equipped to play the hapless husband and, as Bridesmaids reminded us, Byrne has comic abilities in spades.** I Give It A Year **is out on February 8.
