If there's one thing the movies teach us it's don't live in the Midwest. Under any circumstances. If you're not being swept away by a rogue twister, chased through cornfields by pyscho tweens or being sold a turkey by Jerry Lundegaard, all kinds of other hideousness can befall you, as this featurette for **The Crazies **makes abundantly clear.
Timothy Olyphant and Radha Mitchell are the unlucky Iowan couple left to face a slack-jawed apocalypse when something toxic in the water supply turns their local community into mouth-foaming tide of blood-slavering lunacy.
Directed by Breck 'Sahara' Eisner, The Crazies is a remake of George A. Romero's 1973 chiller. It may not have its predecessor's political subtext or subversive edge but what it does have, as this behind-the-scenes clip shows, is lots of people with their intestines hanging out and plenty of Midwestern mayhem.
The Crazies is out on February 26.
