To paraphrase Lady Bracknell: remaking one much-loved kitsch classic is ballsy; remaking two takes cojones the size of '80s Space Hoppers. A single misstep and a small army of fanboys is poised to descend on your doorstep with pitchforks and a seize-and-desist writ.Ask Colin Farrell, though, and there's more than enough daylight between Len Wiseman's Total Recall **- **like Fright Night - and its predecessor to dispel the spectre of Arnie, Johnnycab and the camp joys of the red planet. "It's really different, " Farrell told Empire. "The story is very much inspired by the Philip K. Dick short story (We Can Remember It For You Wholesale) but it's been changed significantly. The world created is very different from the world in the original. I love the original but it's different enough that it warrants retelling."
