It's a hard life being a chalet girl, what with all that snow, sun and relentless skiing. But as this new clip from **Chalet Girl **shows, it's not all fun, larks and snowball fights - there are jobs to be done and duties fulfilled. Bo-ring. But something tells us this Brit comedy is unlikely to major on the spring-cleaning-and-cooking side of the job. Hurrah!
The chalet girl in question is 19 year-old Kim (Felicity Jones). She's given the grand tour and some basic ground rules by the seriously well-to-do Georgie (Tamsin Egerton). Working for Bill Nighy's businessman, Kim is a little out of her depth amid all the glitz and glamour, and soon finds herself in even deeper do-do when she falls for Nighy's charming son Jonny.
The bad news? Jonny's girlfriend (Sophia Bush) and formidable mother (Brooke Shields) are on the warpath. The good news? She discovers that she's a talented snowboarder and can therefore escape at speed.
brightcove.createExperiences();With a talent cast featuring up-and-comer Jones, who melted hearts in Cemetery Junction, and Egerton, who had a similar effect in 4.3.2.1., as well as Gossip Girl's Ed Westwick (soon joining Leonardo DiCaprio in J. Edgar) and Nighy, it should be fun. It's out on February 18.
