Cuthbert plays Jennifer Tee – a world class model who’s captured and subjected to a string of warped mind games that push her to the brink of psychological meltdown. But it’s not just the 24 star who’s in trouble. In March, the movie began encountering difficulties when a series of billboards depicting ‘Abduction, confinement, torture and termination’ were removed from the streets of L.A. after complaints at the violent nature of the images began streaming in to After Dark Films. So, following the success of the Saw and Hostel movies, can the girl next door’s visit to the world of darkness and torture pick up the blood-soaked reins and turn guts into glory?
