Nothing to do with the Kevin Bacon '80s starrer of the same name (although a possible shout in a six-degrees-of-Bacon contest), **The Big Picture **is a French drama with a pedigree cast and a sparkly new trailer which you can watch below.

The story revolves around wealthy law partner Paul Exben (Romain Duris), a man seemingly in command of all the luck in the known world. He's got a great job, a beautiful wife and two wonderful sons. The end.

...Except not the end because that'd be a boring movie. As you can tell from the trailer, Exben decides that his life's not what it's cracked up to be and decides to make some major changes. Only things don't pan out quite as he expects and soon he's having to go all Jason Bourne, changing identities and heading across Europe as a prisoner of his past.

Duris has shown his charming, slippery side in **Heartbreaker **and convinced with the more dramatic beats The Beat That My Heart Skipped offered him. Judging by the trailer, this is the serious Duris in action. That hair is no joke for starters.

Alongside him are French screen idol Catherine Deneuve, returning to our screens after Potiche, as well as Marina Foïs and A Prophet's Niels Arestrup. The Big Picture is adapted from a novel by American writer Douglas Kennedy. It'll make its UK bow on July 22.
