The Best Foreign Language category at the Oscars tends to be full of great films you haven't had the chance to see yet, and this year was no exception. But fear not! Israeli nominee Ajami* is set for a UK release and here's an exclusive look at the trailer to prove it.
The film is set in Ajami, a neighbourhood in the city of Jaffa that has a mixed population of Christian, Jewish and Muslim residents, and tells a multi-strand story of the residents as tensions rise and gangmembers clash, with the ordinary citizens caught in the middle.
Ajami doesn't have a confirmed release date yet, but is tentatively scheduled to come out in the UK on July 9, so keep your eyes peeled.
