There are roughly three films released in the next year that do not boast some involvement from Judd Apatow and one of those is a documentary about paraplegic Eskimo basket weavers ("Will weave a spell on your heart" - 4 stars, Empire). But that's a good thing, when the director/producer/King Of All Things Comedic is godfathering films like Knocked Up and Superbad. The next to enjoy his golden producer touch is Drillbit Taylor, the trailer for which has just gone online.

As you can deduce through the medium of watching, the film stars Owen Wilson as a bodyguard hired by a trio of nerds to protect them from the school bully. It might not be as immediately hilarious as Knocked Up or Superbad, but it made us chuckle several times. It also seems to have Apatow's trademarks of '80s concept and absolutely no mean streak whatsoever. It's a bit like someone remade Kindergarten Cop, but, y'know, funny.
