It has become something of a tradition for the Game Of Thrones team to make some big announcements at Comic-Con, and this year is no different. For Season Five, the cast will swell to include Jonathan Pryce, Keisha Castle-Hughes, Jessica Henwick, Rosabell Laurenti Sellers, Toby Sebastian, DeObia Oparei and Enzo Cilenti.

So, we’re sure you’re asking yourself, who are they playing? Let’s run the list, shall we? Pryce will be the High Sparrow, described as a pious type who has gathered an army of those looking to denounce the corrupt. Siddig is Doran Martell, the older brother of the late Oberyn. Naturally, he will not be a happy man. Also from Oberyn’s clan is Castle-Hughes as Obara Sand, one of his illegitimate daughters.

Henwick is Nym Sand, Oberyn’s second daughter, while Sellers is Tyrene Sand, his third daughter. The Oberyn clan will represent in force this year, with Sebastian as Trystane Martell, Prince Doran’s son and the heir to Dorne.

In non-Martell news, Nell Tiger Free is the new actress playing Myrcella Baratheon, Cersei’s oldest daughter, who was sent to live in Dorne and is betrothed to Doran’s son. Her position has changed somewhat thanks to Oberyn’s death. Oparei will be Areo Hotah, the captain of Doran’s palace guard, while Cilenti will be Yezzan, a wealthy slave trader who isn’t too thrilled with Daenerys Targaryen’s outlawing of the trade.

The show will return next April.
