Comic-Con Episode IV: A Fan's Hope may have a complicated title, but the story at its heart is a simple: nerds are wonderful. Telling the stories of several different comic-conners - a designer, a comic book artist, a toy collector - as they go about the world's biggest nerdgasm, it's a touching exploration of what it is to be a geek.

Aided by celebrity pieces to camera from the likes of Eli Roth, Seth Rogen, and (of course) Kevin Smith, it's been created with the full backing of CC HQ, with living legends and nerd gods Stan Lee and Joss Whedon executive producing.

Directing duties are Morgan Spurlock's alone, however, and knowing that fact it's pretty safe to say it'll be an enjoyable, accessible, beard-filled joy. It's what he does, after all.

Still, take a look at the trailer below and judge for yourself.

Comic-Con Episode Four: A Fan's Hope is out on April 6.
