Game Of Thrones fans were queuing around the block - and down the shoreline and into the next town - to get into San Diego Comic-Con's famous Hall H auditorium, and they were not disappointed, with cast memebers Sophie Turner, Maisie Williams, Alfie Allen, John Bradley, Gwendoline Christie, Liam Cunningham, Natalie Dormer, Conleth Hill, Hannah Murray and Carice van Houten all stopping by.
Rewarding the fans further was this delightful pop culture mash-up video, showing just how much HBO's ongoing adaptations of George R.R. Martin's seemingly not ongoing fantasy series are cropping up elsewhere, be it other TV shows, films or Barack Obama's Amazon wishlist.
Then there was this, a selection of audition recordings from the actors that ended up getting parts in the show. A less fun version of this video would be all the disappointed people who didn't get the gig, that's by the by.
With showrunners showrunners David Benioff and D. B. Weiss swearing everyone involved to a secrecy so secret there's no proper word for it, there wasn't much detail on what to expect about the next season of the show, but Queen Margaery - that is to say, Natalie Dormer - thinks that without Lady Olenna Tyrell (Diana Rigg) around, she might be due some just desserts. Maisie Williams, meanwhile, made mention that considering the events of the final episode of the latest season, she will have to train in an altogether different fighting style. Daredevil Arya? Game Of Thrones Season 6 is aiming for a Spring 2016 release, and starts shooting soon.
