Terrifying news of the day: after opening herself up to all sorts of ‘is not gold’ lines with Glitter, Mariah Carey is planning her own Broadway musical. "I don't want to mention anything definitive until things are signed, but there's a very big company that just signed on to develop the project with me," gushes the indestructible star who plans to create, produce and star in the show which will feature a load of her songs. Just don’t hold your breath for tickets because - gulp - it’s going to be a movie first. "I don't want to say a television movie, because it's not like a cheesy network movie,” says Mariah. “The [film] will set the stage for the stage." God help us all.
